Jamarcus Bradleyâ€™s time is now.
After patiently waiting the last couple of years, the junior is finally assuming his role as the starting quarterback for the Choctaw County Chargers.
â€śIt means everything to me,â€ť Bradley said. â€śI have been waiting for this spot for two years. I had to sit back and watch my good friend Dakota Brasher play and help him out. Now it is my time to step up to the plate.â€ť
Despite his only moving up to the starting role this season, Bradleyâ€™s coach sees maturity in the junior that is well beyond his years.
â€śHe has a good head on his shoulders, (and) real mature for his age,â€ť Choctaw County coach Adam Dillinger said. â€śHe has always been that way and that is what makes him such a good leader.
â€śHe has played a lot of ball. He played as a freshman and sophomore so he has a lot of games and a lot of experience.â€ť
