Starkville Academy coach Jeff Terrill is quick to say that Madison Ridgeland Academy “could be the best private school in the state” when it comes to football.
With a 4-2 record overall and standing at 1-0 divisionally, the Patriots certainly fit the bill.
“I guess the best way to characterize them they are big, big, big and fast, fast, fast so certainly it will be a tremendous challenge,” Terrill said. “Of course, it always is when you are playing a Division I team, but our players have been real focused. They have been down this road many times. We will come out and compete well. They will play with that heart and they will compete.”
