Make room on ‘Mad at Congress’ bandwagon

I hate to pile on, because there’s not much else one can add to the public outrage associated with the federal government shutdown rather than further examples that reinforce the common observations. But all the same, a voice and a vote are all I have and it’s not an election year.

It ill-befits any leader not to share in the consequences of actions they’ve taken against their own people. To put it another way, it takes a lot of gall for Congress to wholesale furlough federal workers and shut down federal programs while simultaneously ensuring each congressman still receives a paycheck.
