SHS keeps improving on the field

October 6, 2013

The Starkville Yellowjackets weren't as sharp as they could have been on offense last Friday night, but in a winning situation, there can be a reason to smile.
After a 35-0 homecoming victory against Northwest Rankin, the Jackets improved their records to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in Class 6A, Region 2.
The path for Starkville seems like the one it took last season on the way to the Class 5A State championship. The Jackets started the season 1-3 in the non-region slate, then won 11-straight games to claim the title.
