The March of Dimes will hold Starkville’s first Golden Triangle Signature Chef’s Auction at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Mississippi State University’s Hunter Henry Center, raising funds to prevent and manage premature births by bringing together Starkville’s top chefs.

Wendy Parker, community director for March of Dimes in Mississippi, said March of Dimes has held chef’s auctions across the nation for the past 10 years. In previous years, she said Starkville had hosted the organization’s March for Babies, a fundraiser walk set during the spring, but no March for Babies was scheduled this year.
