Jacket 9th graders have rally fall short

October 10, 2013

The Starkville Yellowjacket 9th graders mounted a second half comeback, but it fell short.
The Jackets couldn't contain West Point and the Green Wave went on to a 12-6 victory Thursday night to win the division.
"We've come a long way from last year and this spring," Starkville coach Chris Carlisle said. "We've improved from being 4-3 last year to 6-1 this year. We've made great strides as a team."
