East meets West: Oktibbeha County schools seek first win of the season

October 10, 2013

Danny Crawford

The environment is getting more and more intense as game night approaches in Maben.
That's because tonight cross-county foes East and West Oktibbeha square off. Not only does the opportunity to beat your rival lie on the line, but this year both teams are winless and looking to score that first victory.
“This game is much anticipated,” Timberwolves coach Danny Crawford said. “The game against East doesn’t get any better. All the kids know each other. Both are winless so that intensifies the rivalry even more. We are just looking forward to it.”
