MABEN – Heading into Friday night, coach Doug Wilson said he wanted to see his team compete.
East Webster listened to its coach and despite losing 42-31 to the Calhoun City Wildcats, the Wolverines never quit.
“All the credit goes to them,” Wilson said. “They are a great team with big, fast guys. We made strides in some areas that we need to get better at. The big thing we did is when they got ahead, we didn’t stop and that is the character of this team and I am proud of them.”
