MABEN – The West Oktibbeha Timberwolves and East Oktibbeha Titans came into Friday's game seeking their first victory as it has been a tough season for both teams.
It was not just a special night because of this heated rivalry as it was West Oktibbeha’s homecoming night as well. However, it was the Titans who would end up playing spoiler as they ultimately had the most to celebrate after pulling out a 20-18 victory and winning a tough rivalry game on the road.
East Oktibbeha’s head coach John Davis said winning this game was huge.
“I think our team was wanting this game more than any other game,” Davis said. “I was real proud of my team.”
