East Webster hosts first-round softball playoff matchup

October 14, 2013

Berryhill

The East Webster Lady Wolverines earned the top seed out of Class 2A, Region 5 during the regular season and now look to make a run in the postseason.
East Webster will host Union, the Region 6 runner-up, today.
Lady Wolverines coach Lee Berryhill is looking forward to a fresh start, but all the while knowing his team could be eliminated at any point.
“The playoffs are a new season,” Berryhill said. “Everybody starts off 0-0 because record wise from this point forward is win and move on or lose and go home. You have to treat it one day at a time. You can’t look ahead, but just take care of business that is right in from of you.”
