Oktoc Country Store prepares for 43rd year

Margaret Ann Harned Chandler has only been a member of the Oktoc Garden Club for a year, but her memories of the club's fundraiser the Oktoc Country Store — are very vivid.
Chandler was born and raised in Oktoc. She still lives on her family's original plantation, and raised her own family in the community, too.
Her parents were heavily involved in getting the first Oktoc Country Store started, and she said her mother's caramel cake was one of the epitomes of the bake sale.
