Jackets look to 'shine' on home course

October 17, 2013

When Starkville High’s cross country teams take the course on Saturday for the Starkville High Invitational, it will be “their time to shine.”
“This is their course,” SHS coach Caroline Woomer said. “They see it every day. They know the hills and everything about it. This is their time to shine. Their families will be there so they are highly motivated to perform well on their own turf. This is what they have been looking for all season…to really shine and do their best.”
