East Webster advances with home sweep

October 19, 2013

East Webster coach Lee Berryhill says there is a secret weapon involved in any softball game.
On Saturday, the Lady Wolverines found that weapon as they won the first game against West Lincoln 6-0 and then went on to take game two 12-2 to advance forward to the Class 2A South State championship games.
“In this game, it always about momentum or as we call it mo,” Berryhill said. “We want mo on our side. They couldn’t get mo on their side. We did a good job and got the first game, then in the second game, we batted first and got mo on our side to start with.”
