Yellowjackets in driver's seat with big victory

October 20, 2013

Jamie Mitchell's Starkville High School Yellowjackets are in the driver's seat.
After beating Madison Central 45-42 Friday night in a wild game, SHS is now 6-2 overall and 4-0 in Class 6A, Region 2.
The Jackets are in first place in the division and in control with just three games remaining on the schedule.
The next two weeks see Starkville on the road at Jackson Murrah and Warren Central. It ends the season with a home game against Clinton.
The road may be tough, but the Jackets control their own destiny. Two more wins, and SHS wins the division.
