OCH helps girl learn to walk again

October 24, 2013

OCH Regional Medical Center’s physical therapist, Carol Walters, works with Kaley Edwards in the therapeutic pool. Walters was instrumental in helping Edwards walk again. (Submitted photo)

When she was 11 years old, Kaley Edwards was told by many doctors she would never walk again.

Kaley was riding a four-wheeler with a friend when the two fell into a ravine. Kaley was thrown into the four-wheeler’s handle bars and her right hip, pelvis and right arm were broken and her sciatic nerve was damaged.
