COLUMBUS – Anything can happen in a rivalry game.
Add on that the fact that it is a conference game and the importance increases.
That was exactly the situation the Starkville Academy Volunteers found themselves in as they lost a close one to Heritage Academy 14-10.
“We just knew our kids were going to keep at it,” SA coach Jeff Terrill said. “They came out and did some things. We felt like we missed some tackles. We got that corrected and I felt like our guys played pretty solid football.”
