Warren Central's strength defense

October 30, 2013

The strength of the Warren Central High School football team is defense.
In the list of Class 6A teams allowing the fewest points this season, the Vikings are ranked second behind Tupelo by only giving up 104 points.
"We've got a very experienced and athletic defense," Warren Central head coach Josh Morgan said. "They've really been playing some good ball, especially here of late. We've just got a good group of guys with a high football IQ and love to play defense."
The Vikings opened the Class 6A, Region 2 schedule with two-straight shutouts. They defeated Northwest Rankin 24-0 and Greenville-Weston 31-0.
