Bulldogs play well in exhibition

November 3, 2013

If there is going to be a vast improvement with the Mississippi State Bulldogs this basketball season, Sunday was a good start.
MSU rolled over Auburn-Montgomery 86-57 in an exhibition outing.
The Bulldogs struggled in last year's preseason game, as they only beat William Carey 80-74.
MSU head coach Rick Ray was happy with the effort he saw from his team in Humphrey Coliseum on the lazy fall afternoon.
"Obviously, it was for our guys to get out and play some different competition," Ray said. "They've been beating up on each other in practice for quite some time."
