MSU takes victory in exhibition action against Shorter

November 5, 2013

Mississippi State women's basketball coach Vic Schaefer likes to yell the word "go" to his players during the course of games.
It's important to Schaefer for his team to get down the court as quickly as possible offensively.
With the new 30 second shot clock in play, there's even more of a reason to speed up the process.
The Bulldogs were trying to increase the tempo Monday night against Shorter in exhibition action at Humphrey Coliseum.
For most of the night, MSU accomplished that goal and won a 76-44 decision at Humphrey Coliseum.
Guard Savannah Carter of the Bulldogs has some extra motivation to give what she said was "100 percent" every time she steps onto the court.
