Eating insects might be a tough idea for many to swallow, but itâ€™s an idea that showed signs of gaining momentum at Mississippi State University this week.
Frank Davis, retired research entomologist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is the founder and coordinator for MSUâ€™s annual Insect Rearing Workshop (IRW). He said the workshop was largely the same as in previous years, and the most notable change was the growing interest in raising insects for protein to fight global hunger.
