Twitter town hall draws 52 tweeters

Parents for Public School Starkville hosted their first Twitter town hall Wednesday evening. Fifty-two participants in the hour-long event generated more than 600 tweets. (SDN screenshot)

Parents for Public Schools Starkville and the Greater Starkville Development Partnership hosted a Twitter town hall meeting Wednesday evening that saw more than 52 individual contributors participate in a conversation that could have reached more than 28,000 accounts.

PPS Starkville President Michelle Jones called the town hall, which was the first the group hosted, a success.
