SHS to run in Class 6A State meet

November 9, 2013

Starkville High School is entering the final lap of its cross country season.
This afternoon the Yellowjackets and Lady Yellowjackets will take to the course in Clinton where they will put it all on the line as they compete in the Class 6A State championships.
“It has been three years since we have run 6A so we are excited about it and nervous at the same time,” Starkville coach Caroline Woomer said. “We are going in to run the best we can run. We worked hard for this and we are going to give it what we've got and see where we end up.”
