Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen and his staff knew how good Dak Prescott could be.
The sophomore quarterback of the Bulldogs is now making people around the country notice him.
After dealing with the passing of his mother last week, he went out and had a phenomenal game against Texas A&M.
Prescott completed 14-of-26 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 154 yards on 16 carries in the loss to the Aggies.
"It says a lot about him and it says a lot about how he was raised by his mom," Mullen said on Wednesday's Southeastern Conference teleconference. "She knew him being his best in whatever he was to do was very important. He wanted to make sure that he got out on the field and was able to do that."
