MSU's Ray looks for more progress during next game

November 13, 2013

Mississippi State men's basketball coach Rick Ray was pleased with how his team played in the season opener.
The Bulldogs held a lead for the entire game as they went onto a 71-56 win over Prairie View A&M last Friday night.
The Bulldogs out-rebounded the Panthers 51-27.
"I was really pleased with the one weakness that we had last year, as far as our rebounding," Ray said on his Wednesday teleconference. "Obviously we rebounded the ball very well. The bad part about that is we rebounded a lot of our own shots."
