Christmas Open House scheduled for Sunday

November 15, 2013

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Starkville. Store window displays boast of brightly decorated Christmas trees and Christmas carols greet those walking along Main Street. The town will be filled with even more Christmas cheer on Sunday with the Greater Starkville Development Partnership’s Christmas Open House.

Many stores will be decked to match this year’s theme “Christmas in Whoville,” from the Dr. Seuss book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Jennifer Prather, special events and projects coordinator, said the Partnership chose the theme because it reached all ages.
