Lesli Camille Morris Wolford, age 50, passed away November 19, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 22 at 10:00 at St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Columbus, MS. Memorial service will follow at 11:00. Internment will be in Friendship Cemetary. Family and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. Officiating the service will be Reverand Kerry Holder Joffrion, Reverand Lee Winter and Rev. Anne Harris.
Lesli was born in Amory, MS on November 19, 1963 to the late Marvin (Nob) Harris Morris and Betty Morris Benedict. She was a graduate of Amory High School and Mississippi State University.
Survivors include her husband Thomas Foxworth Wolford, III and their daughter Smith Oâ€™Neal Wolford, her mother Betty Morris Benedict, and her sister Debbie Morris.
Lesli was proceeded in death by her father,â€ťNobâ€ť, sons Thomas Foxworth Wolford, IV and Robert Price Wolford.
Lesli was a great advocate and supporter of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital. She was a cheerleader for the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund and her daughter Smith was a top fundraiser for Swim for Melissa for two years.
