French Camp advances with win

November 23, 2013

FRENCH CAMP – When it rains, it pours is the typical saying.
For French Camp football, it might more appropriate to say when it rains, they score.
The Panthers took to a soggy field Friday night for the second round of the Class A playoffs where they secured a 30-20 victory over Lumberton.
"It was one of those games we felt like we did a great job defensively," French Camp coach Nathan Wright said. "We played great. We had a couple miscues where they broke some plays on us, but all in all, we are very pleased with the kids."
