South Panola ends SHS season

November 23, 2013

BATESVILLE – Having to play anywhere on the road is usually tough.
On Friday night, the Starkville Yellowjackets learned that the South Panola Tigers were certainly no exception.
Led primarily by a three touchdown performance from Darrell Henderson, South Panola defeated the Jackets 20-6, ending Starkville’s run in the playoffs.
“We just couldn’t get anything going offensively,” SHS head coach Jamie Mitchell said. “South Panola moved the ball well early on and we didn’t, especially in the first quarter.”
