MSU women secure 81-63 home victory

It was not a good first 4 minutes of Tuesday night's basketball game for the Mississippi State women.
The Bulldogs had only scored six points during that stretch and trailed visiting Savannah State Tigers 7-6.
With a trip to Naples, Fla., looming and a bus ride to Birmingham, Ala., taking place immediately following the game, MSU head coach Vic Schaefer knew that might present a problem.
Schaefer was not happy with the start and there were times in the second half that weren't very good either, but the Bulldogs were still able to secure an 81-63 victory at Humphrey Coliseum.
