Humbled Bulldogs: MSU returns to Hump to face Jackson State

After starting 3-0, Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray felt his team had developed big heads.
Last season saw a Bulldog team lose more than they won, and the 3-0 start was a welcomed start.
MSU was brought back down to reality after an 87-68 loss to Utah State on the road on Saturday.
"Our guys needed that competition," Ray said on his Tuesday morning teleconference. "They needed to get humbled a little bit because they were starting to build themselves up a little bit too much."
The Bulldogs (3-1) will try to right the ship this afternoon when they host in-state foe Jackson State (2-4). Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. inside Humphrey Coliseum.
