French Camp met up with a familiar foe Friday night.
Last year the Panthers and Stringer kicked off the Class A State championship game where in the end, the Red Devils left Jackson victorious.
This season French Camp switched divisions moving south which set up the game against Stringer one week earlier as the pair faced off for the South State championship.
For much of the first half, the Panthers and Red Devils swapped score for score and it seemed the teams were on par for a record offensive night. Stringer quarterback Telvin Moore was responsible for the vast majority of his teams scoring as he recorded almost 200 yards in the first half alone. No matter how impressive Moore was, French Camp always had an answer and as halftime arrived the teams were deadlocked at 35.
