French Camp learns from early games

December 4, 2013

Smith

The French Camp Panthers knew this would be a football season with some early challenges.
During a conversation in the preseason with head coach Nathan Wright, we discussed how tough the first four games on the schedule would be and how the Panthers would react to it.
There was some early adversity for French Camp as it lost all four of those games.
The Panthers fell to Choctaw County 21-16, Eupora 51-21, Kemper County 26-24 and Noxapater 20-13.
At the time, French Camp didn't know if it was going to rebound and have a successful season or not.
Wright can now look back on the situation and see the positives coming from it.
