Last week Cortez Johnson stepped outside his comfort zone.
Normally a quiet guy as the French Camp Panthers prepared for their game against Stringer, it was Johnson who was up front rallying the team pregame.
“Cortez is a quiet leader,” French Camp coach Nathan Wright said. “He is just one of those guys that isn’t going to say much, but last week before the Stringer game, I said Cortez you want to talk and rally us up. He was nervous, but he got on up there and did a great job.”
