After losing to Madison Ridgeland Academy the previous night, Starkville Academy coach Glenn Schmidt was anxious to see how her team would bounce back.
On Tuesday evening, the Lady Volunteers did not just bounce back, but they came back with a vengeance defeating Heritage Academy 61-38.
Not only did SA outscore its opponent by 23 points, but leading Lady Volunteer Sallie Kate Richardson scored more points than the top three Lady Patriots combined.
