Seminoles seek to grind it out against Panthers in Jackson

December 5, 2013

Bubba Tacker has been coaching for 15 years and each one of those years has been with the Smithville Seminoles. It has also been 15 years since Smithville last competed for a state championship.
Tacker and his team are back in Jackson this season and ready to represent the small town that supports them each step of the way.
“We have had lots of support especially the further we go the more people start coming out,” Tacker said. “Smithville has always been a sports town. Everybody relies on sports and it is a big deal in a small town. It has been 15 years since we have been here and everybody is pumped up and excited.”
