French Camp play for state title

December 5, 2013

Nathan Wright and the French Camp Panthers have been in this position before.
The Panthers were in Jackson last season competing for the Class A State championship and here they are again this year.
The only difference is the manner in which French Camp got here and for Wright, this season has been just a “bit sweeter.”
“I tell you it has been a little bit sweeter this year,” Wright said. “Last year we beat a lot of 1A schools pretty good and won our district. This year we have clawed enough to get in. We started 0-4 and then had a chance to win some big games late and now have a chance to play for the championship. It has been a lot of fun.”
