EMCC running backs form dangerous duo

SCOOBA - One is a former Starkville Yellowjacket and the other is a former West Point Green Wave.
It would probably be difficult for East Mississippi Community College running backs Preston Baker from Starkville and Lakenderic Thomas from West Point to get along in another situation.
When it comes to playing with the Lions, Baker and Thomas have become close.
Despite the competition that comes with playing the same position, Baker and Thomas have bonded.
"From being rivals to helping each other in the backfield, Ken (Thomas) has become one of my best friends out here," Baker said. "I'm going to miss him when he's gone."
Thomas knows, as a sophomore, that he will be moving on, but is confident what EMCC has in Baker moving forward.
Baker may only be in his first year of helping the Lions, but Thomas has noticed the approach he takes to the game.
