More sensitivity for the ‘Elephant’ men

Republicans on the national level are working hard to become more “user-friendly,” if you will. But now they’re giving us a peek behind the curtain of how they intend to do it, and it shouldn’t be terribly surprising that it sounds like the makings of an episode of “The Office.”

Republican men in Congress are receiving sensitivity training, especially in reference to women’s issues, according to House Speaker John Boehner. Apparently, tying them all up with a calf rope and dragging them back to the kitchen didn’t work, so they opted for Plan B. The new plan involves at least an effort to assimilate to the same knowledge society at large has accepted since the late 1970s: Women are, indeed, people too.
