Lady Jackets stay focused, now on a roll

December 11, 2013

It's a credit to coach Kristie Williams and her staff to keep the Starkville Lady Yellowjackets focused after a rough start to the season.
After losing back-to-back games to New Hope and Meridian to start the season, it would have been very easy for the Lady Jackets to have gotten down on themselves early.
Rather than that, SHS went to Noxubee County to get a win, which is never an easy thing to do, then returned home to beat West Point, won its first Class 6A, Region 3 game at Columbus and knocked off Grenada Tuesday night.
