The holiday season will be a little brighter for Oktibbeha County’s elderly thanks to Volunteer Starkville’s partnership with Ward Stewart Elementary’s art program.

Third-and-fourth grade students in Patricia Collins’ art classes have spent their week creating Christmas cards that will be delivered to local nursing homes, hospice patients, OCH Regional Medical Center patients and more who are ill or recovering.
