While most people were inside sitting on their couch in the warm confines of their home and watching the end of the National Football League Sunday afternoon slate, the Mississippi State Bulldogs were practicing.
Bowl practice started just before 6 p.m. on a cold Sunday night. Steam was seen coming from the players mouths and the top of their heads.
That didn't stop the Bulldogs from giving it everything they had.
"That was fun," MSU defensive coordinator Geoff Collins said. "The guys were flying around. The offense was competing, the defense was competing, everybody had good attitudes and good energy. It was fun to be out there."
The Bulldogs will play the Rice Owls in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31.Â
