There has been a theme to Mississippi State's football practices over the last few days.
The Bulldog squad has been showing coaches a good bit of energy in the early going as it prepares for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31.Â
The defense has been driven by it this entire year, and it has carried over into the bowl practices. Yet, the offense has let the bug overtake it in mid December.Â
"They are," MSU offensive coordinator Les Koenning said of his squad playing with energy. "They're excited. It's been going good. (We) get a chance to work with the young kids. It's been really nice."
