Supes approve Mill resolution

December 17, 2013

The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a resolution of support for an effort to allow Mississippi State University to enter a 55-year lease with lenders for The Mill project.

The Mill is a development project that will see a hotel, conference center, parking garage complex and other business spaces constructed near the E.E. Cooley Building at Mississippi State. The Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning approved finalized plans for the project in October.
