When Geoff Collins looks at the film of the Rice offense, he sees a similarity to what he sees on a week-to-week basis.
The Mississippi State defensive coordinator was very complimentarily of the Owls' offense, a Conference USA squad.
"They have Southeastern Conference players," Collins said matter-of-factly after Thursday night's practice.
The Bulldogs (6-6) will meet the Owls (10-3) in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn. on New Year's Eve.
