December 31, 2013

Smith

It's shaping up to be a nice bowl season for the Southeastern Conference.
The two Mississippi schools of the league got things off on a positive note to close 2013 with victories in its postseason bowls.
Of course Mississippi State defeated Rice 44-7 in the Liberty Bowl on Tuesday, while just down the road from Memphis, Tenn., in Nashville, Ole Miss won a 25-17 decision over Georgia Tech in the Music City Bowl on Monday.
Texas A&M and Duke were locked in a pretty tough battle as the curtain was closing on 2013 late Tuesday night.
