NEWS: Some citizens still wait for trash bags

New Year’s Day has come and gone, and Letha Nelson still doesn’t have her garbage bags.

The city of Starkville typically provides residents with garbage bags twice per year — in the spring and fall — but Nelson said the city hasn’t brought any to her Pecan Acres residence in almost a year.
