A new chapter is dawning in Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers basketball.
The first half of the season is in the books and coach Glenn Schmidt and her girls are ready to begin work writing the second half’s story.
“Every player on the court and on the bench all the way up to myself have to say to ourselves what else can we do,” Schmidt said. “We have to do more. It is time to do more. That is what you do every year. You look ahead and say this is it. We have to take advantage of every moment to get ourselves ready to play the last few weeks of the season.”
