Bulldogs seek more memorable moments today against Rebels

January 11, 2014

Rick Ray’s first taste of rival Ole Miss inside Humphrey Coliseum was memorable.
His Mississippi State Bulldogs knocked off the in-state rival Rebels 73-67 a season ago in Starkville to split the season series.
Ray urged students to show up and they did, making the Humphrey Coliseum a loud place and gave the Bulldogs the home court advantage.
This year it may be a little different for MSU (10-4, 0-1) when Ole Miss (10-4, 1-0) come calling.
The Mississippi State spring semester doesn’t start until Monday.
