SSD ponders using bond money

The Starkville School District Board of Education wrestled with a decision on whether to move forward in drawing additional bond funding from a July resolution at its Tuesday evening meeting.

SSD Comptroller Rob Logan said that the district issued a 3-mil note for up to $9.95 million on July 16. He told the board at Tuesday’s meeting that about $3 million of that money was still available.
