The Mississippi Scholars Initiative, an ongoing program for all schools in Oktibbeha County, is challenging students to challenge themselves during their high school years.

Mississippi Scholars is managed on a statewide level by the Public Education Forum of Mississippi. The program encourages eighth-grade students to take a more rigorous course path through high school to better prepare them for college or any other paths they may take after high school.
